Marketing or Deceiving?

All right...

Are half truths truths? - meaning... you only tell half of the whole truth...

or... are half truths half lies? 

it's like looking at a glass half full of water or half empty...

but after discussing it with some people... 

I'd like to say that half truths are NOT half truths. they are still lies.

The topic was of marketing or deceiving, actually they are both the same... funny? not.

Marketing is about trying to put a product in the 'good' kind of limelight so that it sells. Customers need not know about the 'bad' or the goods. Or so 'they' say... 

Marketing is actually quite and art of deceiving itself.

Of course, there are laws to curb these kind or 'too' series conning. Though not very useful cause marketing now a subject offered to public and quite well-known too... Poisoning minds of youths or students with the art of lies... training them to be professional (i would put it this way) speech manipulators. Promoting certain products of their own field, getting it to sell. stuffs like this.

Has this become a lifestyle or way to survive?

Trying out this line... as in delving myself into trying out job related to marketing, I would like to say that it's actually a bit of both. This is a highly populated world... old economy system cant support such large population. 'Weird' and 'odd' jobs and since appeared so that most can have decent source of life support. Spurning lies and half truths kind of job that is.

well, this is life, it's wrong but it's a living.

therefore the sanctity of life in this situation is place higher than of telling the truth.                   Therefore right yet wrong at the same time. 

Think of the rest yourselves... It all depends on how you see it...
