Craze.. on Brown Sugar?

Out of a Sudden.. i like brown sugar...
lol.. here's an explantion on it.. from wikipedia

Brown sugar is a sucrose sugar product with a distinctive brown color due to the presence of molasses. It is either an unrefined or partially refined soft sugar consisting of sugar crystals with some residual molasses content or produced by the addition of molasses to refined white sugar.

Brown sugar contains from 3.5% molasses (light brown sugar) to 6.5% molasses (dark brown sugar). The product is naturally moist from the hygroscopic nature of the molasses and is often labelled as "soft." The product may undergo processing to give a product that flows better for industrial handling. The addition of dyes and/or other chemicals may be permitted in some areas or for industrial products.

Particle size is variable but generally less than granulated white sugar. Products for industrial use (e.g. the industrial production of cakes) may be based on caster sugar which has crystals of approximately 0.35 mm.

The DIFFERENCE

Science and God

'Let me explain the problem science has with Jesus Christ.' The atheist
professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his
new students to stand.

'You're a Christian, aren't you, son?'
'Yes sir,' the student says.
'So you believe in God?'
'Absolutely.'
'Is God good?'
'Sure! God's good.'
'Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?'
'Yes.'
'Are you good or evil?'
'The Bible says I'm evil.'

The professor grins knowingly. 'Aha! The Bible!' He considers for a
moment.

'Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you
can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?'

'Yes ! sir, I would.'
'So you're good...!'
'I wouldn't say that.'

'But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if
you could. Most of us would if we could. But God doesn't.'

The student does not answer, so the professor continues. 'He
doesn't, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even
though he prayed to Jesus to heal him How is this Jesus good? Hmmm? Can
you answer that one?'

The student remains silent.

'No, you can't, can you?' the professor says. He takes a sip of
water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax.

'Let's start again, young fella Is God good?'
'Er...yes,' the student says.
'Is Satan good?'
The student doesn't hesitate on this one. 'No.'
'Then where does Satan come from?'
The student : 'From...God...'

'That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? Tell me, son. Is there
evil in this world?'

'Yes, sir.'
'Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything,
cor rect?'

'Yes.'

'So who created evil?' The professor continued, 'If God created
everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to
the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil.'

Without allowing the student to answer, the professor continues:
'Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible
things, do they exist in this world?'

The student: 'Yes.'
'So who created them?'

The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his
question. 'Who created them? There is still no answer. Suddenly the
lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is
mesmerized.

'Tell me,' he continues onto another student. 'Do you believe in
Jesus Christ, son?'

The student's voice is confident: 'Yes, professor, I do.'

The old man stops pacing. 'Science says you have five senses you
use to identify and observe the world aroun! d you. Have you ever seen
Jesus?'

'No sir. I've never seen Him'
'Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?'
'No, sir, I have not.'

'Have you ever actually felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or
smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus
Christ, or God for that matter?'

'No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't.'
'Yet you still believe in him?'
'Yes.'

'According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable
protocol, science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that,
son?'

'Nothing,' the student replies. 'I only have my faith.'

'Yes, faith,' the professor repeats. 'And that is the problem
science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith.'

The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a
question of his own. 'Professor, is there such thing as heat?'

'Yes,' the professor replies. 'There's heat.'
'And is there such a thing as cold?'
'Yes, son, there's cold too.'
'No sir, there isn't.'

The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested.
The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain.

'You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat,
mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we
don't have anything called 'cold'. We can hit up to 458 degrees below
zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is
no such thing as cold; otherwise we would be able to go colder than the
lowest -458 degrees. Every body or object is susceptible to study when
it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have
or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat.
You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of
heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units
because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the
absence of it.'

Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom,
sounding like a hammer.

'What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as
darkness?'

'Yes,' the professor replies without hesitation. 'What is night
if it isn't darkness?'

'You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the
absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright
light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have
Nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? That's the meaning we use to
define the word. In reality, darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able
to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?'

The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him.
This will be a good semester. 'So what point are you making, young man?'

'Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is
flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed.'

The professor's face c! annot hide his surprise this time.
'Flawed? Can you explain how?'
'You are working on the premise of duality,' the student
explains. 'You argue that there is life and then there's death; a good
God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something
finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a
thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much
less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life
is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive
thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it.'

'Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they
evolved from a monkey?'

'If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young
man, yes, of course I do'

'Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?'

The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he
realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.

'Sinc! e no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work
and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you
not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a
preacher?'

The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the
Commotion has subsided.

'To continue the point you were making earlier to the other
student, let me give you an example of what I mean.'

The student looks around the room. 'Is there anyone in the class
who has ever seen the professor's brain?' The class breaks out into
laughter.

'Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain,
felt the professor's brain, touched or smelled the professor's brain? No
one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of
empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no
brain, with all due respect, sir. So if science says you have no brain,
how can we trust! your lectures, sir?'

Now the room is silent. The professor jus t stares at the
student, his face unreadable.

Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. 'I
guess you'll have to take them on faith.'

'Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists
with life,' the student continues. 'Now, sir, is there such a thing as
evil?'

Now uncertain, the professor responds, 'Of course, there is. We
see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man.
It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world.
These manifestations are nothing else but evil.'

To this the student replied, 'Evil does not exist sir, or at
least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God.
It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe
the absence of God.

God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when
man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold
tha! t comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there
is no light.'

The professor sat down.

Pass this on if you have faith in God.
If not, still pass it on for it's a good story!

Intersting...

Hi Friends,
Pls read….nice word
1. I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.
2. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry.
3. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
4. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.
5. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them.
6. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.
7. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
8. Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to waste their time on you.
9. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when
we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.
10. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.
11. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting
and just be more careful about who you trust next time around.
12. Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you.
13. Don't try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.
REMEMBER: EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON.!
True friends: How many people actually have 8 true friends?
Hardly anyone I know ! But some of us have all right friends and good friends!!!

The Day

*sigh*
Why am I sighing?
What is wrong with this world?
sorry.. i dont really know what to write...
hm... lets see..
last night...

oh ya...

my uncle treated my family and I to a Dinner... it was a special one..
guess...

It was a GinSeng dinner..
HUH? ginseng?
let me describe it a bit..
EVERYTHING!!!! i really mean it.. EVERYTHING was BITTER!!! EWWW!!!
the tea....( u know la... chinese restaurant  ma, non-stop flow of the usual chinese tea, but then since it's a ginseng themed dinner, the tea was made out of ginseng...) ****(use ur imagination properly) them(the organizers..)
and then, there was the emcee... crappy old man.. he just cant stop babbling about the wonders of consuming Ginseng, pullin in "uncle Lim", and some TVB guy who's 101of years this year.. blah blah blah... he even crapped about impotent man using ginseng to cure their impotence... ****(again) him.. the whole members of the floor was forced to listen to him while eating... he even showed the organs of the diseased!!! it was totally gruesome...
hmm.. what else?
oh ya.. do you know there's no such thing as 100-year-old ginseng?
the best quality ginsengs are 6-year-olds...
and 99.99% of the ginseng in market are grown... the 0.01% can be found in the wild..
and also those which are found in the wild are usually planted in pots for few months then transfered somewhere in to the wild.. after letting it be for certain years, the planters will come and hunt for them... selling them for super high price...
also for the environmentalist... ginseng HAS to be planted on NEW grounds... meaning, cutting down of forest.
*Tips for those who wanna buy ginseng and not get scamed... haha
hmm.. and ginseng MUST NEVER be boiled too long... what a waste of time..
*sigh* again...
but the end was pwetty fun... there was this lucky draw...
there was this super big price worth RM200... funny how i got it.. and i didn't even know what it was... ...in a bottle, powder, bitter-looking... YUCK!

so.. i guess that's all...
SAVE THE FOREST! YAY (where did have i heard it)

The Explaination

While reading some books some day ago, i came upon this sentence... a statement if logically argued can proof to be quite true..

"Clay represents life; Plaster, Death; Marble , Immortality..."

how true is it?
hmm.. lets ponder upon this matter..
in religion - Christions and Muslim...  it is said that humans were mould from clay by God's hand..
this statement can be found in the Bible... try looking for it in the book of Genesis...
Try abserving the picture below...

a life size model of the upper part of the body

life sized scalpture of a man

but then ... how does plaster actually represent death?
all of know plasters r white... for example.. the Plaster of Paris... after mixing the powder with water.... and having it poured into moulds... the results would be that the carft comes out white in colour...
other than that... you would sometimes hear people.. exclaiming so and so being as pale as plaster...
try looking at the picture below... carfts from the use of plasters

Plaster model on paper

A plaster scalpture

the last one - marble.
marble represent immortality. touching marbles would give u the sense of coldness.. true?
marble is also hard...
legend has it that in the old times.. vampires used to exist... how true is it I don't know..
vampires... many describes them as cold and hard... like touching marbles with life in them...
well, based on this one legend alone.. i'd like to think that marble is a very suitable material used to represent immortality...
there also another theory,
Pagan Gods of the Greeks and other Ancient Civalisation are known to be immortal
Many of the statues of these Gods are found to be made out of Marble... contributing to the preserveration of these artifacts
Below, Models of marble

so cold.. so beautiful, never dieing...

Pagan Gods are known to be immortal. Therefore, carved and scapled out of marble.

Well.. how you want to interpret this theory is up to you.
This is really interesting.. haha
i guess that's all... for now..

PS: This is just my personal view on this matter....

About Books

Some books have been known to have their own creative quotes
and sometimes.. it can be related to our lives...
most of the time.. it's just cool.. to have the book's own signature quotes...

I found 1 which is quite cool.. from the the book titled INKHEART - by Cornelia Funke

somewhere in the book... quoted by one of the characters:-

"The world us a terrible place, cruel, pitiless, dark as a bad dream, not a good place to live in. Only in books could you find pity, comfort, happiness - and love. Books loved anyone who opens them, they give you security and friendship and don't ask anything in return. They never go away, never, not even when you treat them badly. Love, truth, beauty, wisdom and consolation against death.
Words are immortal - until someone comes along and burns them."

Ain't it true?

Also another one.... from the very same book...
it's more of a rhyme...
"Some books should be tasted,
Some devoured,
but only a few -
should be chewed and digested thoroughly"

happy reading this cool book...
